About the challenge

Welcome to our 5th annual hackathon! The annual MHS hackathon is very well-known as a fun, competitive event! If you've never competed in a hackathon before, this is a great introduction to the fun of problem-solving in STEM fields. While this hackathon is more tailored towards computer science-related problems and submissions, those of you from other pathways should not feel intimidated! Everyone is able to help with their individual project regardless of pathway or skillset.

Prompts:

Choose only one:

  • Functionality (0-7)
Does your product function exactly how you say it does? Does it have any major limitations that longer-term development won't fix?
  • Creativity (0-5)
Has your product been done before? Remember to STAND OUT with your project, and don't be afraid to take leaps of faith!
  • Completeness (0-5)
Is your product done to a level where it could be accurately pitched to a panel of judges? Did you take your time in detailing your product to a point where it is 100% finished?
